Harv Phandal-Dhanda
Harv is a strategic and forward-thinking executive leader with successful entrepreneurial business operations and consulting experience, and a track record of community leadership and contributions. She is known as a dynamic and collaborative change agent who is skilled in corporate governance, knowledgeable about legal issues related to Human Resources and IT, and who combines big-picture thinking with a practical focus on risk management.
Currently serving on the Emily Carr University Board of Governors, Harv’s previous Board experience includes chairing committees for the Surrey Hospitals Foundation and Canuck Place, volunteering for Donations and Fundraising at St. Paul’s Hospital and York House School, chairing the Membership Committee at the Arbutus Club, and serving as a founding mentor for the Aragon Leadership Academy.
Harv holds an MBA in Human Resources from Royal Roads University and a Certified Human Resources Professional designation from the HR Association of BC. She is fluent in English, Punjabi, and Hindi. In her free time, Harv enjoys hiking, playing tennis, and traveling with her husband and daughters.
