Kristy is the General Manager of the West Vancouver Yacht Club (WVYC) and brings more than 20 years of leadership across strategy, governance, marketing, and communications.

Most recently, as Director of Strategy & Communications at The Arbutus Club, Kristy partnered closely with the Board and Management Team on long-range strategic planning, policy development, and stakeholder engagement. Her portfolio spanned governance operations, capital planning, and organizational communications. Previously, she served as Vice President at Animal Marketing Inc., where she led national campaigns for global brands.

Kristy’s volunteer work spans more than a decade with a focus on women and children facing systemic barriers, including service with Baby2Baby in Los Angeles. Based in Vancouver, she brings board-level experience, a lived awareness of marginalized communities, and a deep commitment to dignity-first, wraparound care. She is currently completing her Certified Club Manager (CCM) designation and holds a background in Human Resources Management from BCIT.
