Taheer Mohamed
Taheer resides in Vancouver, BC, where he was born and raised, and has also lived in London, England and Toronto, Ontario.
Taheer is a financial risk manager at the Office of the Superintendent of Financial Institutions (OSFI), specializing in the oversight of the banking sector and climate risk policy. Taheer’s 20 years in the financial industry include risk management roles in both the private and public sectors. Taheer holds a bachelor’s degree in Economics from Simon Fraser University and a master’s degree in International Development from the University of Westminster. He also holds the Sustainability and Climate Risk (SCR) certification through the Global Association of Risk Professionals.
Taheer enjoys exploring everything BC has to offer with his wife (Elena) and son (Theo), along with ice hockey (playing and watching), cooking, and travel.
