Integrated Family Program (BIFP & NWIFP)

Intensive counselling helps families stay together or reunite after a separation. Through individualized or family therapy, parent education and training EFry gives families in crisis the support and tools necessary to make home a safe and caring place to be.

Burnaby Integrated Family Program (BIFP) and New Westminster Integrated Family Program (NWIFP) provide short-term clinical counselling to families with children and youth who are currently experiencing serious conflict or family violence. Family Counsellors work collaboratively with families in their home, or at office locations, providing couples or individual counsellor, tailored to meet each family’s unique needs. The focus of counselling is identifying strengths, development of problem-solving and communication skills, strengthening relationships, creating safety, with the goals of reducing conflict and violence and increasing safety for all family members.

Referrals to the program must be made by Child Protection Workers at the Ministry of Children and Family Development (MCFD) for families residing in Burnaby or New Westminster.

Looking ahead, I hope to one day give back to EFry and support others the way I was supported. Thank you, EFry, for your compassion, your resources, and your unwavering commitment to helping women and families in need.
