Ellendale Intensive Treatment Program

EFry’s Ellendale Intensive Treatment Program provides live-in substance use treatment and recovery support for women in a safe, structured, and welcoming residential environment. The program recognizes that each participant’s experiences, strengths, treatment needs, and recovery goals are unique. Through individualized planning, therapeutic programming, and consistent support, participants are given the time and space to focus on their health, wellbeing, and future.
Located in Surrey, the Ellendale Intensive Treatment Program provides full-time residential recovery support for women seeking greater stability in their substance use recovery. Participants may remain in the program for approximately three to five months, allowing time to work toward individualized goals and build skills and supports that can continue beyond their stay.
Each participant works with staff to develop an individualized plan based on their experiences, strengths, needs, and goals. Support includes therapeutic and group programming, life-skills development, case planning, connections to community resources, and transition planning to help participants prepare for their next steps.
Ellendale also offers a specialized stream for expectant and new mothers and their babies. This allows mothers and babies to remain together while participants work toward their wellness, recovery, and parenting goals in a supportive residential setting.
Through trauma-informed, gender-responsive, culturally safe, person-centred, and non-judgmental care, Ellendale supports women in strengthening their wellness, confidence, connections, and ability to pursue the lives they envision for themselves.
