Third Party Administration in New Westminster

EFry’s Third Party Administration (TPA) Program in New Westminster supports people whose BC Employment and Assistance or disability assistance is administered through a contracted third-party agency. The program helps participants maintain access to their income supports, understand Ministry processes, complete required documentation, and build skills that support greater stability and independence.

The program serves individuals who have been referred through the Ministry of Social Development and Poverty Reduction for third-party administration of their assistance. EFry provides a respectful point of contact between participants and the Ministry, helping ensure people can continue receiving their income or disability assistance while accessing support with communication, paperwork, appointments, and service navigation. The program is delivered in a non-judgmental and trauma-informed way, recognizing that people may need additional support for many reasons and that everyone deserves to be treated with dignity, privacy, and respect.

Through the TPA Program, EFry staff support participants with benefit administration, Ministry forms, documentation, monthly check-ins, annual reviews, individualized Action Plans, and access to My Self Serve. Staff also help participants understand Ministry letters, deadlines, policies, and requirements in clear and accessible language.

The program also supports participants with personal management skills, including budgeting, communication, problem-solving, self-care, harm reduction, money management, and daily living skills. Where helpful, staff connect participants to housing supports, health care, mental health services, substance use supports, counselling, legal advocacy, employment and training programs, and other community resources.

The goal of the Third Party Administration Program is to help participants maintain access to income supports while strengthening stability, confidence, and independence. When appropriate, EFry supports participants to work toward a successful return to receiving services directly from the Ministry.

Services are delivered from EFry’s New Westminster office at 402 East Columbia Street, a safe, private, and accessible location close to public transit.
